Catch your dreams

About a year ago, I painted my room 'etoile de mer' (starfish colour, beige/orange/pinkish), cause I wanted to make my room look beachy. I wanted a dream catcher to fit with my room, cause I think they look pretty. So I asked my mum if it's possible to make one. 'Ofcourse', she said, and so we did.

We used an old one to see how they did it, and it is soo easy!
I used two rings from a wooden mobile and a lot of hemp twine.

First you have to wrap the rings with the twine. After you've done that, you have to make the inside part. It's not so difficult, but you have to know how. So here's a video (not mine though).

After that's done, you can start decorating.
If you want to use shells, use the ones with holes in it. If you can't find any, use a stone drill to drill little holes. That way you can pull a thread through.

I think it looks amazing.

I still have 4 rings left, so maybe some day I will make two more. Small ones make great gifts too! And you can decorate them with anything you like. I absolutely love dream catchers!

Keep on dreaming,
Jacky
